Positive Thinking Boosts Fertility
by on November 08, 2009
Medical professionals emphasize the importance of positive thinking for one good reason - it influences your fertility and chances of conceiving more than you may think! The direct correlation between stress and fertility is still not completely understood by scientists, but many studies and reports indicate that women who are positive and feel good when trying to conceive, are far more likely to conceive than those who aren't.
In 2005, the Fertility and Sterility Journal reported that women who underwent fertility treatments when they were in a state of happiness, were more likely to have positive outcomes, as opposed to those who were saddened or stressed. Taking this a step further, scientists tested ovulation among women who weren’t impregnated and found that the women who reported
high levels of stress and depression, ovulated 20% less than those who did not. Furthermore, of the stressed and depressed women who produced eggs, they were 20% less likely to conceive.
So, while it isn't always easy to think positively, particularly if you're experiencing difficult times at home, at work, or with friends and family, remember the negative effects it may have on your fertility and remind yourself of the good you have in your life.
The importance of positive thinking is covered in Step I of the Fertili-Plus Conception Framework guide, and if you haven't already done so, downloaded your free copy of the guide and leave a review.
